Tomi Pekkala

Tomi Pekkala ( born November 19, 1988 in Liminka ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who is since 2013 in the Pelicans in the SM- liiga under contract.

Career

Tomi Pekkala has already played at youth level for Kärpät Oulu, for his professional team, he made ​​his debut in the SM- liiga in the 2008 /09 season. In ten games he remained no points and was awarded two penalty minutes. In addition, the attacker was standing in a group match of the Champions Hockey League for Kärpät on the ice. At the end of the season Pekkala was with his team runner-up after in the best- of-seven series they succumbed JYP Jyväskylä in the finals with a sweep.
