Tommy Svensson

Tommy Svensson ( born March 4, 1945) is a Swedish football player and coach. He was Swedish National Coach of 1991 until 1997.

Tommy Svensson became Swedish champion with his hometown club Östers IF from Växjö in 1968. He played abroad for Belgian club Standard Liege. In 1969 he was named " Player of the Year " ( " Guldbollen " ) chosen. As a coach, he celebrated one of the biggest successes in the Swedish football history in 1994, when Sweden sensational World Cup was third.
