Tomoaki Kunichika

Tomoaki Kunichika (Japanese国 近 友 昭Kunichika Tomoaki; born April 22, 1973 in Hikari ) is a Japanese long- distance runner who specializes in the marathon.

In 2003, he won the Fukuoka Marathon, in which he had become in 1999 and sixth in 2002 aft, in his personal best of 2:07:52. He was subsequently nominated for the marathon in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, in which he finished in 42nd place.

He was third at the Seoul International Marathon 2005.

Tomoaki Kunichika is 1,79 m tall. He starts for the corporate team of S & B Foods Inc.
