Toni Childs

Toni Childs ( born October 29, 1957 in Orange, California) is an American singer- songwriter. The most successful she was so far in New Zealand, where she was able to record six top 40 singles and three platinum albums. In Germany it was known by the title Stop Your Fussin ' (1988).

Life

Childs grew up in the American states, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma and Nevada. Their religious parents forbid her listening to pop music and cinema. With 15 years - after she had attended a Pink Floyd concert - they ripped off from home to become a musician.

Childs joined in 1979 the newly formed band to Berlin, but left it before the recording of the first album, to start their own band. Members were Jack Sherman ( later Red Hot Chili Peppers ) and Michael Steele (later The Bangles ). The band toured until 1981 to publish without an album, and then broke up.
