Toni Vastić

Toni Vastić (born 17 January 1993 in Vienna) is an Austrian footballer who currently plays in the SV Ried. He is the son of the former Austrian football national player Ivica Vastić.

Career

Association

Vastić began playing football at Sturm Graz, in which his father Ivica Vastić played at the time. As Ivica 2003 moved to Austria Wien was succeeded by his son. From 2005 to 2009 Toni Vastić played in the Football Academy in Linz. In 2009, he joined with 16 years to the English first division club Blackburn Rovers, where he was employed in the U-18 team. After two years on the island of the German record champions FC Bayern Munich signed him, where he was employed in the reserve team in the fourth division Regionalliga Süd. Here he played his first game at senior level when he ran aground 8 August 2011 against the U-23 team of the 1st FC Nuremberg. This was followed by 24 more missions until he moved to the Austrian first division side SV Ried in January 2013. There he announced on February 16, 2013 his debut when he came off the bench against FC Wacker.

National

Vastić, who also has Croatian roots running, since the U- 16 for Austrian national teams. His debut for the U -21 he gave on 12 September 2012 against the selection of the DR Congo.
