History

In 1958 Long John Distillers in Grand Grantown-on -Spey, about a kilometer from the River Spey with the construction of a new distillery. These were the first distillery, which was built in Scotland in the 20th century. It was designed by the architect Sir Arthur Richardson and is considered one of the most distilleries in the country. Production

The water comes from the Achvochkie source. The whiskey is distilled into four wash stills and spirit stills. The distillery has a maximum capacity of 37,000 hl per year.

Samples
