Walkerville is the smallest LGA in metropolitan Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. The area is 3.5 km ² and has about 7,000 inhabitants.

Walkersville is located in central Adelaide and is bordered to the south-east to the city center. The area includes four neighborhoods: Gilberton, Medindie, Vale Park, Walkerville. The administrative headquarters of the council is in Gilberton district.

Management

The Walkerville Town Council has ten members, nine Councillor elected by the residents of the three Wards (three from Vale Park, Walkerville and Medindie / Gilbert Ward). These three districts are set independently of the districts. The Council President and Mayor ( Mayor ) is also elected by all residents of the Towns.
