Třebovice

Třebovice ( German Triebitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic in Pardubice Region in Okres Ústí nad Orlicí with 814 inhabitants.

Geography

Třebovice is located about 14 km southeast of Usti nad Orlicí, 55 km east of Pardubice ( Pardubice) and 151 km east of Prague. The watershed of the Danube and Elbe area is located at Triebitz.

History

The first mention was made in 1349 as Tribouicz. Triebitz was a village with 1100 inhabitants. in the district Landskron the Bohemian district of Chrudim, at the Třebovka.

Triebitz is located on the northern Imperial State Railways ( Olomouc - Prague); doing a tunnel of 260 fathoms in length and at the state line Proßnitz - Triebitz.
