Třemešná

Třemešná ( German Röwersdorf ) is a municipality with 962 inhabitants north of the city Město Albrechtice ( Olbersdorf ) Okres Bruntál, in the Czech Republic. Röwersdorf formerly belonged to the district Jägerndorf in Austrian Silesia.

Districts

The municipality includes the villages Damašek ( Damasko, even New Röwersdorf ) Rudíkovy ( Reigelsdorf ) and Artmanov ( Artmannsgrund ). The district Reigelsdorf had on December 1, 1930 346 inhabitants, on 17 May 1939 were 354 and on May 22, 1947 274 inhabitants.

Attractions

Located in the village is the parish church of St. Florian. Between Třemešná and Osoblažsko ( Hotzenplotz ) operates since 1898 a narrow gauge railway with a track width of 760 mm. This is also the only system operated by the Czech state railway company České Railways narrow gauge railway line.

Personalities

Tereza Chlebovská, the 2012 won the title of Miss Czech, had lived in the village until her 17 years of age.
