Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol provincial elections, 2008#South Tyrol

The South Tyrolean Landtag elections in 2008 took place on 26 October 2008. Were elected 35 delegates to the South Tyrolean Landtag. The turnout was 80.1 percent.

On the same day the election to Parliament of Trentino took place. South Tyrol and Trentino parliament together form the comprehensive 70 mandates Regional Trentino -Alto Adige.

  • The deputy left Alessandro Urzì 2011, the fraction of the Popolo della Libertà and founded the group Futuro e Libertà, which he renamed L' Alto Adige nel cuore 2013.
  • The deputy Mauro Minniti left 2013, the fraction of the Popolo della Libertà and founded the group La Destra.
  • The deputy Thomas Egger left in 2013, the fraction of the Freedom and founded the group We Tyrol.
