Tresa

The Tresa ( German outdated: Treis ) is a river in the Italian region of Lombardy and Canton Ticino. It flows at Ponte Tresa at an altitude of 271 m from the Lago di Lugano and constitutes over half of its length, the border between the Swiss canton of Ticino and Italy. After 15 km, it opens in 193 m height at Luino in Lake Maggiore.
