AS Trikala 2000 ( Greek ΑΣ Τρίκαλα 2000) was a Greek basketball team from Trikala Thessaly.

History

Trikala 2000 came on 13 September 1999, when the two traditional clubs from Trikala " Danaos " and " Sporting " merged. The newly formed team started then under the President Konstantinos Dais in the Gamma Ethniki, the fourth division of Greece. 2003 Trikala won the championship and rose as a result of the "Beta Ethniki ." 2006, the club won the championship of the third and 2008 the championship of the second division (A2 Ethniki ). Between 2008 and 2010, played Trikala in the highest Greek league, which previously no club from Trikala.
