Reviews

" The new three- cylinder engine is not as greedy as his little brother. The lusty revving and the speed of addiction 675ers are the 800 - unit foreign. It may be that he is long-excursion designed, 85 per cent of all components have been redrawn and the flywheel is probably even larger. [ ... ] Are always to 70 Newton meters are available, the maximum power of 95 PS delivers the three-cylinder at 9300 rpm and 9500 rpm 2000 rpm interim. The effects are quite credible. It reads perhaps strange, but by his exemplary elasticity allows the Tiger almost like driving an electric vehicle. "

"No matter how the background looks like, the engine of the Tiger can be metered precisely depends silky smooth on the gas and can be driven in a very wide rpm band. Bad news the way, the " strong character " link for motorcycle enthusiasts with engine vibration. For them, the Tiger 800 will be a soulless beings in the XC variant. [ ... ] But standing in the catches was revealed to me the only conceptual drawback of the motor. On the one hand, the focus of the vehicle is higher than in boxers or single cylinder. On the other hand, however, the bike in the seat is indeed narrow front in the area of the cylinder head wider than you would expect from such motorcycles. "

" The first true enduro motorcycles of the island is a good bike. It is based significantly on the - in sum - something better BMW. Both machines offer all the great driving fun. The Triumph is cheaper to buy, the BMW drives for cheaper. "

" The Triumph Tiger 800 XC ABS provides a total of beefy and striking appearance. It shows clearly that it can be used without worry where the actual determination of vehicles from the enduro segment is. However, there is no shortage of English woman of elegance, which makes them usable also in normal urban environment. "

" Convince When driving, but still more the 79 Nm torque, smooth and already from 1500 rpm propulsion uses the engine and multiplying. The three-cylinder works very smoothly on the throttle, converts commands to spontaneously and accurately and enjoys it with astonishing uniformity of the power output to high at 9000 tours. This results in an incredibly broad torque band, with the grumbling cozy rolled the triple even in sixth gear without winding through villages. "
