Trois-Rivières Attak

Trois- Rivières Attak is a Canadian football club based in Trois- Rivières. For the 2010 season the team does not participate in the match operation of the Canadian Soccer League.

Until the 2010 season, the team acted as youth and reserve team for the USSF D2 Pro League club Montreal Impact. 2009 founded the Impact Montreal Impact Academy, and ended the cooperation agreement with Trois- Rivières Attak.

History

Foundation

On 15 November 2006 Montreal Impact announced the creation of a farm team in Trois- Rivières. The name would be chosen through a competition. On January 17, 2007, the name and the official logo was presented to the public. On the same day the contract players were presented (Nicolas Lesage and Jean -Louis Bessé ).

First season

The team was a surprise in their first season. She was from the beginning competitive in the Canadian Soccer League. You could check the Open Canada Cup win, as they were able to defeat in the final of the Columbus Clan FC 3-0. In the league they reached the second place and thus qualified for the playoffs, where they eventually lost in the semifinals against the Serbian White Eagles.

Striker Nicolas Lesage was the best scorer with 16 goals CSL 2007.
