Trotina

Trotina ( German Trotin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers south-west of Dvůr Králové nad Labem and belongs to Okres Trutnov.

Geography

The place is located in the southeast of the ridge Zvičinský hřbet the headwaters of the Trotina. To the south lies the Bile Poličany castle.

Neighboring towns are Dolni Dehtov in the north, Hliníky in the northeast, Zábřezí - Řečice in the east, Velehrádek and Bile Poličany the southeast, Končiny in the south, Rohoznice the southwest, Horka and Trotinka in the west and Zdobín in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village dates from the year 1238. Throughout its history, the village belonged to the rule Miletín and then later came to dominate Poličany.
