Troye Sivan
Troye Sivan Troye Sivan Mellet actually ( born June 5, 1995 Johannesburg, South Africa ) is an Australian actor, singer and YouTuber. He played Young James Howlett in X -Men Origins: Wolverine and took over the lead role in the film series Spud.
Life
Sivan was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and lives in Perth, Australia. He is a Jew and is currently being taught at home.
In the years 2006, 2007 and 2008 respectively Sivan joined as a singer in the Channel Seven Perth Telethon. In 2006, he sang a duet with Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian. Sivan made it to the grand finale of Star Search 2007. His debut album Dare to Dream was released in February 2008. It contains the five pieces There's a Hero, Angels Brought Me Here, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Unsung Hero and The Prayer. 20 September 2008 Sivan sang at the opening of Storm the Stage at Burswood Entertainment Complex. In February 2010, Sivan participated in the charity music video We Are The World 25 for Haiti (YouTube Edition), produced by Lisa Lavie to raise money for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The video, in which participated 57 artists, starting with the appearance Sivan.
In February 2008, Sivan starred as James Howlett in X -Men Origins. Sivan got the part after videos of his performances were posted on the telethon on YouTube. Thus he came to the attention of a Hollywood agent who contacted Sivan and asked him to send a voice sample. Sivan got the part after the actually intended for this purpose Kodi Smit- McPhee failed due to his participation in the film The Road.
In 2008, Sivan was playing with the West Australian short film Bertrand the Terrible.
In July 2009 he applied successfully for the title role in Spud, a film adaptation of the eponymous novel published in 2005 by the South African author John van de Ruit. Filming took place from early March to mid-April 2010 held in South Africa.
As of March 2010 Sivan played with at a theater in Western Australia in Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot. Sivan took over during the season at any second performance the role of the messenger boys. In the remaining performances this role by Craig Hyde -Smith was played.
In June 2012, Sivan returned to South Africa in the film Spud 2: The Madness Continues to play along, which was released in South Africa on 21 June 2013. On 22 June 2013, the film adaptation of Spud 3 was started.
On August 7, 2013 Sivan published a coming out video on his YouTube channel, in which he declares that he is not ashamed of his homosexuality, and his fans asked for understanding and tolerance.
