Tsepo Masilela

Peter Tsepo Masilela (born 5 May 1985 in Witbank ) is a South African football player. The defender is since 2012 the South African club Kaizer Chiefs under contract.

Career

Masilesa played from the 2004/05 season Benoni Premier United in the Premier League. This was preceded by an exchange of the League places with the bankrupt Erstligisten Hellenic FC. Masilela, previously Hellenic player, was acquired from the bankruptcy estate of the association as a result of the newly minted first division Benoni. 14 game days fought the team lying bottom of the table against relegation, but missed the league ultimately by two points. Two years later, reached the summit on sporting merit. In summer 2007, Masilela going to go to Israeli first division side Maccabi Haifa, for which he acted since then as a regular player on the left-back position. With Haifa, he won the 2008 League Cup and 2009 the Israeli championship. After a year loan in Madrid, he moved back to his home to Kaizer Chiefs.

Masilela took 2006 as a second division player without previous international duty at the Africa Cup in 2006 and debuted in part in the final group match against Zambia ( 0-1). Two years later at the Africa Championship 2008 was Masilela in the squad and was the disappointing Vorrundenaus in all three games available for use. At the Confederations Cup in 2009 under coach Joel Santana he belonged also to the permanent staff, and formed during the tournament together with Matthew Booth, Aaron Mokoena and Siboniso Gaxa the defense formation.
