TSG Neustrelitz

The TSG Neustrelitz is a sport association with the departments football, chess and gymnastics from Neustrelitz in the German state of Mecklenburg- Vorpommern. He had 2008, approximately 400 members. Club development

The Neustrelitzer gymnastic and sporting community has its beginnings in the sports community Corso Victoria Neustrelitz, created in 1931 by the merger of the clubs Victoria and Corso. In addition to football, the club offered to other sports. It was after the end of World War II banned by the Soviet occupation forces and dissolved at the end of 1945.

East German football

Although 1919 was a football club in Neustrelitz, the football was never in the city until the 1950s on local significance beyond. In 1991, the TSG Neustrelitz rose to the then fourth-rate federation League Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. After the descent had in 1995/96 will be played in the regional league.
