TSV Ampfing

The TSV 1927 Ampfing is a sports club from the Upper Bavarian Ampfing. Today, it covers the departments football, karate, skiing, tennis, table tennis and gymnastics.

Football Division

The first big success was in 1978 with the rise in the Bavarian League South, the then fourth league posted. Previously, the TSV had only played in lower leagues. As a newcomer to the league Schweppermänner could secure ( thus the nickname of the team in memory of Schweppermann Seyfried, who at the battle of Ampfing made ​​a name ) promptly the first place and thus rose up in the then third-class Bavarian League. In the first Bavarian League 1979/80 season the league was secured. In this season of TSV Ampfing also took part in the only time in its history the DFB Cup, where he was defeated, however, the Bramfelder SV in the first round with 1:2 after extra time. The Schweppermänner held for ten years in the Bavarian League. The most successful they were able to complete the 1984/85 season in which they finished third behind SpVgg Bayreuth and FC Augsburg.

1989 had the Ampfinger the transition back into the national League South compete. With the exception of the 1996/97 season, in which there was a brief interlude in the Bezirksoberliga, they belonged to 2002 through to the national league. After the descent in the summer of 2002, the Schweppermänner could no longer carry on a grand performance. They remained four years in the Bezirksoberliga Upper Bavaria until 2006 they descended again.

From 2006 to 2009, the TSV Ampfing played in the district league Oberbayern East, where he was able to win the 2009 league title. From 2009 to 2012, the Schweppermänner played back in the Bezirksoberliga Upper Bavaria and Southeast were after the game class reform for the season 2012/13 has been classified as sechstklassige division.

Stadium

The TSV Ampfing plays its home games at Isenstadion. The stadium has 400 covered seats and standing room for about 10,000, with only the spaces provided next to the grandstand with concrete steps. On May 11, 1988, a junior international match took place in Isenstadion: The German U-18 selection defeated within the qualification for U-18 Championship in Switzerland 3-1.
