The Isen is a left tributary of the Inn River in the southeast of Upper Bavaria with a length of approximately 76 kilometers. According to her the landscape Isengau region, as well as the Lower / Upper Isen- Sempt Hill Country is named.

Others

The discharge point into the Inn was in the nineteenth century moved further from the construction of the railway line railway line Munich - Mühldorf - Simbach to west between the hamlets of Kronberg and Unterau in the community Winhöring. The water quality of the Isen is charged as indicated moderate to critical. Tributaries include Lappach, Goldach, Geislbach, Seebach, Eibacher Bach, Kaltenbach and Kagnbach.
