Tuggeranong

Tuggeranong is a city district of Canberra, Australia's capital. It is 159.9 km ² in size, consists of 19 districts with a total of 90,410 inhabitants ( 2003) and is located on the Murrumbidgee River in a valley of the Brindabella Ranges. The districts created 1974-1992, over half of which the mid-1980s. The development focuses around Lake Tuggeranong which was dammed in 1987. Interpret cave paintings and excavated objects indicate that the Aborigines lived here already 21,000 years ago. Tuggeranong is an Aboriginal expression "cold level " means.
