South Canberra
South Canberra, also called the Inner South, is a city district of Canberra, Australia's capital. It is 86.4 km ² and comprises 13 districts with a total of 23 536 inhabitants ( 2003). The district is situated on the southern shore of Lake Burley Griffin; it belongs to the oldest part of Canberra at all and was largely built in accordance with the plans of Walter Burley Griffin. Almost all parts of the city originated 1922-1928, the exception is Narrabundah (1947).
