Tupolev Tu-107

The Tupolev Tu -107 (Russian Туполев Ту -107 ) was a derivative of the Tu -104 military transport aircraft troops, which was provided as Absetzflugzeug for paratroopers and as a hospital plane. The first flight of the prototype took place in September 1958. According to a critical review by the Soviet military, the aircraft was declared by its high minimum speed to be unsuitable for discontinuation of parachutists, which meant the end for the further development and mass production of the machine.
