TuS Wörrstadt
The gymnastics and sports club Woerrstadt eV is a sports club from Woerrstadt, which was founded in 1847. In addition to the football early in their departments athletics, handball, table tennis and badminton.
Women's Soccer
History
In 1969, the women's football department was founded. As the first German (then called women's team ) women's team of TuS Woerrstadt won in 1973 (unofficial ) Women's Football Championship. In the final they beat the ladies of the FC Bayern Munich. A year later the German Championship was officially played and TuS Woerrstadt could after the victory in the final against Eintracht alder DJK 1928 as first team call in Mainz Stadium on Bruchwegstadion in the German women's football champions.
