Godard meets Truffaut ( Original title: Deux de la Vague ) is a documentary from the year 2010 German release date was 28 April 2011..

The documentary describes the former friendship between the two founders of the Nouvelle Vague, François Truffaut and Jean -Luc Godard. The film begins with its beginnings in the Cahiers du cinéma and her sensational film debut kissing with you and they smote him, and out of breath. Between his foster fathers soon is the actor Jean -Pierre Léaud, Antoine Doinel was as the leading face of the New Wave and Truffaut's romantic and poetic films ( Stolen Kisses, etc. ) ( The Chinese etc. ) plays as well as in Godard's radical works. For Godard, Léaud eventually becomes a pawn against Truffaut.
