Reviews

In the New York Times on March 2, 2007 Stephen Holden praised the " tough, precise performance " by Sally Field, which is just all the more captivating by its understatement, at any time you have the feeling that they only put in scene. The film succeed, according to Holden and many other details such as the care of the hospice, the calls to the funeral home and the last farewell to family and friends. When trying to offset the sadness and sorrow with humor, the film gets loud but Holden in serious trouble and also the attempts Anita resume to tell with flashbacks WOULD increasingly contrived.
