tyDi

TyDi ( born May 31, 1987, birth name Tyson Illingworth ) is an Australian trance DJ and producer from Brisbane.

Biography

At the age of 16 years tyDi won his first DJ competition, the Brisbane DJ Wars. A year later he moved to Brisbane, where he was resident DJ at The Family Club. Finally, he studied at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and received a Bachelor of Music Technology.

2006 tyDi first participated in the Sony inthemix Top 50 DJ Poll, and came in 12th place in the following year, he was ranked at fourth place and in 2008 he reached the top site for the first time. The first place he could defend 2009 and 2010 he finished in second place.

His debut single, "Familiar Streets" was released in 2006 on the label Mixology Digital Records. Most recently, he published his productions at AVA Recordings, the label of the British DJ and producer Andy Moor.

The end of 2008 tyDi was invited by the event organizer ID & T to end the Sensation New Year's Eve party in Melbourne. After this performance in front of 42,000 people, followed by invitations for the Trance Energy festival in Australia and Holland, where he shared the main stage with DJs like Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk and John O'Callaghan.

2009 he released his debut album Look Closer. At the International Dance Music Awards ( IDMA ) 2010 tyDi won the award for Best Break -Through DJ.
