Tyketto

Tyketto is an American hard rock and glam metal band. It was founded in 1989 in New York City and so far released four studio albums.

History

The band was put together in 1989 by the former singer of Waysted, Danny Vaughn. Brooke St. James (guitar), Jimi Kennedy ( bass) and Michael Clayton (drums) were part of the cast. In 1990 the band signed with Geffen Records in 1991, the debut Do not Come Easy appeared with the most successful single Forever Young. The second album was rejected by Geffen, and was released on CMC International ( U.S.) and Music for Nations (worldwide).

1995 replaced Steve Augeri (later lead singer of Journey ) Danny Vaughn. Given the musical change in the hard rock and metal scene, the band broke up in 1996. Vaughn founded a band named after him.

2004 and 2007 there was Reunions, serious activities were then starting in 2008. 2012, the group released with Dig Deep in a comeback album.
