U Smile

U Smile is a song by Canadian musician Justin Bieber. It was released on 24 August 2010 as the third and final single from Bieber's debut album My World 2.0, after which it got in, among others, in the United States and Canada in the charts. Previously, the title was published on 16 March 2010 as the second promo recordings of the album.

Background

In an interview with MTV Bieber said of the song that it was one of the best he had ever received. Moreover, it was a flashback to all the great songs, with which he grew up. He also got the title for his fans wrote, because they had helped him to realize his dreams.

In August 2010 slowed Nick Pitt Singer, a native of Florida musicians, the song by about 800%, so it was now about 35 minutes. The action gained considerable media attention.

Summary

The video starts with sequences in which a group of girls on a street in front of a building, while Bieber is trying to leave this undetected. However, the group discovered him and runs to him. Finally, he signs autographs and takes photos with his fans. It starts Bieber, to be interested in a girl from the group. He asks them if they want to meet later, where she promises. Only in the next scene the song and starts Bieber is seen in an empty hall as he plays the piano and sings. Shortly thereafter appeared on his date and they sneak into an empty theater space where they fool around. At the end you can see the two of them frolic playfully while Bieber still plays in a different sequence in the theater room piano.

Leah Greenblatt of Entertainment Weekly described the song as " by far the best title of the album My World 2.0 " and described it as " a shimmering part of the genre Blue - Eyed Soul ". As an example, she called the music duo Hall & Oates. Bill Lamb lifted the title particularly pointing and was of the opinion that had guaranteed that he was " warm and dazed sensations will cause millions of his fans ." However, even adults would not be disappointed by the song. Also Monica Herrera of Billboard commented on the single, and was of the opinion that it is " to older listeners " make an impression.

Commercial success

With 83,000 records sold, the song debuted in April 2010 on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 27, then the first title again fell off the charts.
