Under the Mistletoe
Under the Mistletoe is the second studio album and first Christmas album by Canadian singer Justin Bieber. It was released on November 1, 2011 Iceland Records. The album reached 200 number one in the Media Control Charts and number 21 on the Billboard. There is also a deluxe edition of the album.
Background
On August 25, 2011 Bieber announced that he would release his second studio album in late 2011, a Christmas album. It was later confirmed as the release date of 1 November 2011. At the same time announced manager Scooter Braun and vocal producer Kuk Harrell that collaborations with Sean Kingston and Taylor Swift would be included. Even with the production team The Messengers worked. This also produced the first single, Mistletoe. Together with Mariah Carey Bieber took their song All I Want for Christmas Is You as a duet.
Success
The album debuted at # 1 on the Billboard 200, making Bieber became the first solo artist who released three number-one albums before his 18th birthday.
