Uganik Island

Uganik Iceland is an island of the Kodiak Archipelago in Alaska in the United States. It lies in a bay on the west side of Kodiak Iceland. The island is 156.7 km ² and is uninhabited. Between June and September Uganik is home to salmon fishermen who pitch their camp along the beaches. Hunting and fishing is allowed on their seasonal and only with a special license. The island is part of the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge.
