Ukrainian National Badminton Championships
Ukrainian championships in badminton started after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1992. Settling of Junior Championships began in the same year as the team championships. As an international title fights Ukraine, Kharkov International are performed.
The championships were from the USSR Championship forth in badminton. After the collapse of the Soviet Union Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine launch their own championships within the European Badminton Union EBU, while Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, a new home in the Asian Badminton Association found.
