Ulrich Hübner

Ulrich Hübner ( born June 17, 1872 in Berlin, † April 29, 1932 in Neubabelsberg ) was a German Impressionist painter.

Hübner comes from a family of artists, he received his academic education in 1892 first in Karlsruhe with Robert Poetzelberger, Gustav Schönleber and Carlos Grethe. He then studied at the private art school Munich Friedrich Fehr. 1899 Huebner became a member of the Berlin Secession and was in the years 1906 and 1907, the Board of. He painted in Berlin, Havel country and in the summers in Hamburg, Lübeck, Warnemünde and Travemünde (where he had 1909-1912 his main residence ), especially many harbor scenes.

Some of his works are in the possession of the Behnhauses in Lübeck. His brother, Heinrich Hübner, was also active as a painter.
