Ultra Beatdown is the fourth album by the British power metal band DragonForce. It was on 20 August 2008 in Japan, published on August 22 in Germany and 23 August in Australia before it was published on August 26, 2008 worldwide. On 4 July 2008, the first single from the album Heroes Of Our Time was published on her MySpace page. And on the 8th August 2008, the music video was released on their MySpace page.

This album contains the shortest song they have recorded (except Invocation of Apocalyptic Evil, the opening track of the album Valley Of The Damned, which is only 0:14 min long ): Strike of The Ninja with a length of 3:17. Previously, the shortest song: " Dawn Over A New World " from the album Sonic Firestorm with a length of 5:13.

The music video of the second single release The Last Journey Home was previously released on the Xbox Live servers January 25, 2009, before it was released a week later online.

Ultra Beatdown was the last studio album with the vocals of ZP Theart and is the first with bassist Frédéric Leclercq.

Tour

The Ultra Beatdown tour started on 25 September 2008 in the club "The Zodiac", Oxford along with Turisas. Dragonforce planned in summer 2009 release a live DVD, but so far is no such published.
