Umberto De Morpurgo

Baron Umberto Louis De Morpurgo ( born January 12, 1896 in Trieste, † February 26, 1961 in Geneva ) was an Italian tennis player. He comes from the dynasty of bankers Morpurgo.

De Morpurgo was born in Trieste, as this was part of Austria - Hungary. After the First World War, but this fell to Italy, so he played all his life under the Italian flag.

He participated in the 1924 Olympics in part in Paris, where he won the bronze medal in the individual competition.
