Unai Expósito

Unai Expósito Medina ( born January 23, 1980 in Barakaldo ) is a Spanish football player.

Unai Expósito went at the age of eleven years in the youth of Athletic Bilbao. After four years he left the club, however, for lack of perspective to the provincial club Danok Bat to try his luck. On his second youth station he found the way to CD Baskonia - a team that can be called a training team of Athletic Bilbao. After a strong debut season he finally returned after four years back to the Basque top club from Bilbao - albeit initially in the second team.

Although Unai Expósito was able to play two top-flight appearances for the Basques in 2000, but he remained in the second team. In 2002 he got the chance to develop further, and so he moved to CD Numancia, where he was a regular player at first. He spent the next two years mostly on the bench at CA Osasuna, as the competition was just too big. Nevertheless, he again returned to Athletic Bilbao, where he regularly came into use in the next three years.

Nevertheless, it drew Expósito in the summer of 2008, the Spanish second division club Hércules Alicante, a year later he moved to league rivals FC Cartagena. After two years and over 40 missions, he was recruited in the summer of 2011 from the second division CD Numancia, where he was active as early as the 2002/03 season.
