United Nations Security Council Resolution 1253

Resolution 1253 of the UN Security Council was a resolution adopted at its 4026th meeting on 28 July 1999 without a vote of the United Nations Security Council. With the resolution of the Security Council adopted the Commission's recommendation to integrate new Member States into the United Nations in which it came to the recording of the Kingdom of Tonga to the United Nations.

With the resolution, the board of the United Nations General Assembly recommended the inclusion of Tonga. This recording was made on 14 September 1999.
