United Party for National Development

United Party for National Development is a liberal political party in Zambia.

The UPND has observer status at the International Liberals.

History

She participated in the election in Zambia in 2001 in part, in which they won 23.3 percent and 49 seats in the National Assembly of Zambia. My candidate for the presidency was Anderson Mazoka who could unite 27.2 percent of the votes. In the southern province of the UPND won 18 of 19 seats in the National Assembly of Zambia.

Mazoka died in May 2006.
