Universal 3D

Universal 3D ( U3D ) is a file format for 3D data. The format has been standardized by the ECMA in August 2005 as ECMA -363. The goal is a universal standard for three-dimensional data of any kind, which enables multi-vendor exchange. Was proposed as a standard format from the 3D Industry Forum, in which the following companies are members of:
