The University of Central Florida ( UCF also called ) is a public university in Orlando, Florida. With 53 537 students it is the largest university in Florida and the second largest university in the United States.
History
The UCF was founded in 1963 as Florida Technological University and participated in the October 1968 with 1,948 students operate on. In 1978 she was given its present name.
Sports
The sports teams are called the UCF Knights. The university is a member of the American Athletic Conference since 2013.
