The University of Indonesia ( Indonesian: Universitas Indonesia, abbreviated as UI) is the largest state university in Indonesia with offices in Jakarta and Depok ⊙ ⊙. It was opened in 1950 under its current name, its predecessor institution was founded in 1851. On 26 December 2000, the university received from the Indonesian government autonomy.

Organization

The UI is headed by a rector's office, which consists of the President and three vice-rectors. You are responsible to the Board of Trustees and the University Council.
