Uralla Shire

Uralla is located in the northeast of the country about 510 km north of the city of Sydney and 490 km south of Brisbane. The area includes 53 districts and towns, including Arding, Brushgrove, Kentucky, Kentucky South, Kingstown, Rocky River, Torryburn, Uralla, Wollun and Yarrowyck and parts of Bundarra and Dumaresq. The seat of the Shire Council is located in the town of Uralla in the south-eastern half of the LGA, where about 2,300 inhabitants.

Management

The Uralla Shire Council has nine members, who are elected by the residents of three wards ( three each from Wards A, B and C). These three districts are set independently of the villages. From the circle of Councillor also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
