Uruguay women's national football team

The national football team of the women of Uruguay represents Uruguay in international women's football. The national reports to the Football Association of Uruguay. The selection took four previously discharged CONMEBOL South American Championships in part, the third place in 2006 was the biggest success. At a World Cup or the Olympics, the choice of Uruguay has not yet participated. Between 20 July 2007 ( 2:4 against Ecuador) and the 7th November 2010 ( 0-4 against Brazil) denied the team any games. Except against Jamaica and Canada Uruguay played only against South American teams. On 16 September 2011 the first home game took place in Montevideo, which was lost to the neighbors Argentina 0:7. On 16 November 2011, the team played its first match against a European team. The game against the Frenchwoman was lost with 0:8. In March 2013, the team came in two home games in Maldonado against Zimbabwe, which ended with 3:3 and 1:2.
