Ust-Charyshskaya Pristan
Ust- Tscharyschskaja pristane (Russian Усть - Чарышская Пристань ) is a village ( selo ) in the region of Altai (Russia) with 5023 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010 ).
Geography
The village is located about 100 km in a straight line south of the administrative center of Barnaul region in the foothills of the Altai, on the high left bank of the Ob about 5 km below the confluence of the left tributary Charysh.
Ust- Tscharyschskaja pristane is the administrative seat of the Rajons Ust- Pristanski as well as the seat of the rural community of Ust- Pristanski selsowet to the next to the village of Ust- Tscharyschskaja pristane nor the villages Bespalowo and Ust- Charysh belong.
History
The village was founded in 1773 and is since 1924 rajon center of Ust- Pristanski. The name means something like Charysh - estuarine dock.

Traffic
Road connection exists in a westerly direction in the nearly 70 km away Aleisk ( where there is also the nearest railway station is located) on the A349 trunk road Nowoaltaisk - Barnaul - Rubtsovsk - Kazakh border, and in a southwesterly direction to the neighboring Rajonzentrum Ust- Kalmanka. Ust- Tscharyschskaja pristane has a landing on the Ob.
