Ustaoset
Ustaoset is a place in the municipality of Hol in the province Buskerud. It lies on the north bank of the Ustevatn and on Riksvei 7 at Ustedalen. North of the village extends Hallingskarvet massif. The village for the Ustaoset station is known stasjon the mountain railway. It consists of 900 homes, including a hotel and a few mountain huts.
Name
The name derives from the River Usteåne which is the outflow of Ustevatn.
