Ústí (Vsetín District)

Ústí ( German Austen, formerly Austy ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers southeast of Vsetín and belongs to Okres Vsetín.

Geography

Ústí is situated at the confluence of Senice ( Senitza ) in the Vsetínská Bečva in Moravia. The village lies at the junction of four mountain ranges; south-east lie the mountains of Javorníky, southwest Vizovická the highlands, in the northwest of the Hostýnské mountains and the North East Hills the Vsetínské. significant elevations of Babinek ( 563 m ) in the east, the Sykornik (551 m), Svatý (550 m) and Vrch (536 m ) in the west and the Lysa hora ( 577 m) in the north. History

Various finds, including a bronze ax, evidence of a settlement of the place in the Young and late Bronze Age. The first mention of Ústí was in 1503 in the wake of the sale of dominions Vsetín and Rožnov by Peter Graf of St. Georgen and Bösing to the five brothers of Kunštát. Maybe the village belonged to the valley of Senice, by the 14th century a trade of Poland led to Hungary, also already one of the unnamed traditional goods had left the Protiv of Doubravice to the Master of the Knights Templar Ekko. Ústí belonged to repealing patrimonial regimes in 1848, always to rule Vsetín. 1666 had 121 inhabitants of the village. 1850 were 436 inhabited houses 64. In 1892 there was a regulation of Senice. 1972 flooded a flood of Senice parts of the village. 1979 derailed on the railway line to Horni Lideč in Ústí a train with hazardous material tank car, this accident was the occasion for the construction of a water plant, which was completed in 1993.
