Václav Neckář

Václav Neckář ( born October 23, 1943 in Prague) is a Czech singer and actor.

Career

Václav Neckář began to get excited for acting as a five- year-old theater visits, with his parents. He took part in competitions in singing and declamation. In the Opera House of Ústí nad Labem, he sang the shepherd boy in Tosca.

After graduation he enlisted in for exams at the Prague School of Art, which he, however, did not exist. Still attracted to acting, feeling, he went to wine, and worked as a lighting technician and took over as an extra small roles. So he was able to play the dragon is a dragon wear a slip on the stage and in the musical comedy The Singing Venice you needed him the sixth child.

Internationally known Václav Neckář was with the lead role in the 1968 Oscar - winning film Closely Watched Trains by Jiří Menzel. He then starred opposite Helena Vondrackova in the poetic romantic comedy The Terribly Sad Princess and the DEFA Western comedy Sing, Cowboy, Sing along with Dean Reed. With the song crocodile Theophil 1973 he had a hit in the DDR. There followed then in the GDR more successful in the championship broadcasts songs like " Jorika ", " Nautilus", which showed a different style of music than the crocodile.
