The Vaganova Ballet Academy (Russian Академия русского балета им. А. Я. Вагановой ) is the Ballet School of St. Petersburg's Mariinsky Theatre and the Kirov Ballet. It is one of the most famous and influential ballet schools in the world.

Since 1836 the school is located in the Rossi Street, St. Petersburg. In the wake of the Russian Revolution of 1917, the school was disbanded by the Russian government and reopened as State Choreografieschule Leningrad.
