Väike Nõmmküla (Swedish Persåker, German (small) Nömmküll ) is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Noarootsi ( Noarootsi vald ) in Lääne in Estonia.
Population and location
The place has fourteen inhabitants ( 31 December 2011). He is thirteen kilometers north-east of the district capital of Haapsalu.
The place name is officially bilingual Estonian and Swedish, as the village was at the end of the Second World War to the traditional settlement area of Estonia to Sweden for resettlement.
History
The place was first mentioned in documents in 1536 under the name Perszacker. But it is probably much older. At first he had a Swedish-speaking population. 1641, he was registered under the name of Small Nemptküll.
