Valeri Korobkin

Valery Alexandrovich Korobkin ( born July 2, 1984 in Volgograd) is a Russian- Kazakh football player and Kazakh national team. He plays since 2014 with FK Aktobe in the Premjer League, the highest Kazakh league.

Career

Korobkin began his career at Rotor Volgograd, where he was active in intermittently until 2006. Subsequently, he played in several Russian clubs in the lower Russian leagues. In summer 2012, he joined the Kazakh Premjer League for FK Astana. With Astana he was in 2012 Kazakh Cup winner.

National

After Korobkin adopted in 2012 Kazakh nationality, he was appointed to the Kazakh national football team. His debut for the national team, he was on 12 October 2012 at the European Championship qualifier against Austria.
